Dickies Arena

Maximizing Venue Flexibility

Dickies

Home of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR), Dickies Arena is a state of the art venue that also holds concerts, basketball games, ice events and more. HKS Architects designed Dickies with a similar Colonial look as the 1936 building it was replacing - the similarities end there. Dickies Arena features beautiful finishes, wide concourses, amazing food and beverage options, and upscale club areas that feature full bar service. The transformation the arena takes to hold FWSSR in January and February is truly amazing and done to provide optimal sight lines to the action.

In addition to the fixed seating model 90.12.20.4 Citation, the arena is equipped with a variety of VersaTract equipment to accommodate the events the arena holds. The list of telescopic equipment includes:

  • Structural Modular Decks with reverse anchored Citation chairs
  • Dual Rise platforms with Citation & Integra Chairs
  • Portable Low Rise platforms for use with folding chairs
  • A variety of air-lift portable units
  • VersaDeck for quick-clamp rails and curtains
  • ADA decks

Architect: HKS

General Contractors: Austin Commercial, The Beck Group

Watch this equipment help the awesome crew at Dickies transform the arena an impressive six times over two weeks in January 2024.
