ETSU was founded in 1911 with a singular purpose: to improve the quality of life for people in the region and beyond. Irwin has supplied seating for a number of lecture halls on the bustling campus. In Ball and Gilbreath Halls Citation model No. 90.12.14.4 with extra large (151 sq. in.), self-storing writing tablets were installed in 2022. The seating in both of these rooms feature solid maple comfort curved armrests, matching maple veneer aisle panels finished in No. 24 Walnut. Plastic and powder coat is Charcoal Grey and the writing tablets are surfaced on both sides with Nevamar Serene Stardom high pressure laminate. Backs and seats were upholstered with Culp / Dillon / Ocean vinyl.
