Turner Auditorium at John Hopkins University was reseated in 2017 with a custom-developed solution to help create 780 striking chairs appropriate for this prestigious institution. We combined the benefits of our No. 4 writing tablets with the No. 27 Allegro back and the No. 17 gravity-lift, wood bottom seat for this performance theatre/lecture hall. The Maple backs, seats and armrests were stained with No. 2 Ebony stain while the aisle ends were stained in the contrasting No. 8 Natural. Backs and seats were upholstered with Maharam Abacus Silhouette fabric.
