Marcus Performing Arts Center

Fixed Theatre Seating

Marcus PAC 1179

The Marcus Center was designed by renowned modernist architect Harry Weese and opened in 1969. The Center is a mission-based no-profit home to four major resident companies: Black Arts MKE, First Stage, The Florentine Opera, and Milwaukee Ballet. MPAC is proud to be part of the Milwaukee Theater District as well as a dedicated War Memorial facility, honoring those who bravely served our country.

A 2021 update to this beautiful space included 2,113 Century No. 6.12.56.4 chairs. The seating features comfort-curved solid hardwood arms, concealed aisle lights, and cupholders. Plastic and powder coated (painted) surfaced are black and maple wood components are finished in No. 2 ebony stain. Back and seats are upholstered with three shades of a custom red velour from DesignTex.
