Concrete & Construction Management Building
This building opened in October, 2022 and it is the home of MTSU's School of Concrete and Construction Management. The School's programs teach students leadership skills and innovative techniques needed in the $1 trillion-plus construction industry. This state of the art, $40 million building includes a number classroom and hands-on laboratory space. In fact, the building itself is considered a laboratory of sorts with exposed elements that are used to explain concepts and techniques.
The building also features a 195 seat lecture hall with Allegro model 27.12.74.4. The seating was supplied with 151 square-inch writing tablets, No. 12 seats with an ergo substrate and comfort-curved solid maple armrests. The room is also installed with six bariatric chairs. Wood is stained in No. 27 Classic Golden, writing tablets are surfaced with Nevamar Rush laminate. Plastic and powder coat selected is Charcoal Grey and backs and seats are upholstered with Culp Connelly Crow fabric.
