Northview High School
Fixed Audience Seating
Northview High School is located in the northern suburbs of Grand Rapids around 6 miles from the factory in Walker. The school opened in 1998 and included a 759 seat performing arts theater. In 2014 Northview began a two-year expansion project to accommodate a growing student population which is currently close to 1,200 9th-12th graders.
In 2021 the District raised additional funds to upgrade the lighting and replace the 23 year old Irwin Marquee chairs in the Max Colley Jr. Performing Arts Center. New chair model is Citation No. 90.12.86.4 with black plastic and powder coat, Nevamar Iconic Maple laminate and Maharam, Messenger fabric. In addition, the seating was installed with low voltage LED aisle lights, 2" row letter plates and seat number plates.
