Designed by Rapp & Rapp, the Paramount opened in 1931 with an ornate Venetian aesthetic. In 2018 & 2019 Irwin Seating replaced the 1,800 chairs in the beautiful theatre with new Orpheum backs, No. 6 seats, No. 8 center standards and scrolled hardwood arms. The existing cast iron aisle end standards were modified to work with the new chair components and restored to their original finish. Wood stain selected was No. 22 Classic Rosewood on Maple and the fabric used here is J.B. Martin Porto Burgundy velour.
