The Spartan Complex at San Jose State University was designed with a state of the art dance studio that includes a custom Prestige Telescopic unit from Irwin Seating. This unit was supplied with the chairs in row one installed on custom movable bases to protect the flooring, rows two and three are fixed, non-storing floor mounted 51.12.56.4 Marquee chairs with writing tablets and rows three-six are nose-mounted marquee chairs that fold for storage. This allows most of the unit to be stored for extra floor space while keeping some seating available for instruction/lectures. The telescopic units are provided with carpeted decks, 12" row rise and 43" row spacing. The seating is finished with Hunter Green plastic, black powder coat, aisle ends are surfaced with black laminate while writing tablets are surfaced with Iconic Maple, armrests are finished with No. 8 Natural wood stain on maple. Chairs are upholstered with Absecon Mills Shire Limelight fabric.
