Southeast High School

fixed audience seating

Southeast HS 0471

Springfield Public Schools has made a significant investment in upgrading the facilities to meet the needs of the community. This investment included the renovation of the auditorium at Southeast High School in 2023. The existing chairs were from a supplier no longer in business and parts were no longer available. In addition to upgrades to the rigging, lighting, and sound systems the seating was replaced with 644 new Citation chairs.

The seating was supplied with concealed LED aisle lights and self-storing writing tablets spaced for testing. Three different Designtex Ulster fabric colors were used to upholster the backs and seats (Navy, Glacier, Yellow). The plastic and powder coat is Charcoal Grey and the laminate for the aisle panels and writing tablets was Nevamar Dry Creek Plum Tree. As the before and after photos show, the result was impressive.
