The Thomas and Mack Center opened in 1983 and Irwin Seating was chosen to supply the seating at that time. A major renovation in 2015 included new seating and telescopic platforms for this busy multi-purpose arena which is the home for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels. Fixed seating includes close to 15,000 30.52.00.30 Patriot chairs with rear mount cupholders, LED aisle lights and 5" screen printed logo plates on the aisle end standards. The telescopic equipment provided here are model 5000 platforms with 1,400 Integra chairs. The telescopic system was designed with a 10-1/2" rise and 33" row spacing. To facilitate the variety of events some sections are wall attached while others are airlift portable units. The platforms were supplied with IDS steerable power system and LED aisle lighting.
