The University of North Carolina boasts one of the finest soccer and lacrosse facilities in the nation: Dorrance Field. UNC opened the new, on-campus Lacrosse & Soccer Stadium on March 2, 2019, by hosting a men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader.

Construction on the new facility began in May 2017. It is built on the site of the old Fetzer Field, which housed six sports on campus from 1935 through 2017.

This state-of-the-art stadium includes 1,115 model 30.52.00.30 Patriot chairs installed on the aluminum bleachers and 2,934 beam mount Solara chairs installed on the concrete risers. Both models were provided in a custom Carolina Blue.
