San Francisco's War Memorial Opera House opened on October 15, 1932. Today this magnificent facility is home to the San Francisco Ballet and seats 3,200 patrons. In 2015, Irwin Seating Company developed a new cast iron standard for the Opera House which needed to replace the 888 chairs in the balcony. The result is a beautiful installation of Rialto chairs with a gravity-lift, wood bottom seat. Chairs are upholstered in Arc|Com Francesca Wool Russett velour, hardwood Maple is stained with No. 24 Classic Walnut and a custom powder coat color.
