Specification:
Aisle standards shall be decorative aluminum castings of a period style, constructed to properly support the aisle chairs. The decorative castings shall be approximately 9-1/2” wide and shall feature an upper marquee portion of the standard, an ornate, mid-height decorative cross-brace, and flanged decorative cast legs. The mid marquee portion shall be bordered by columns ornamented with intricate pendeloques, the columns enclosing a rectangular center medallion that terminates at the bottom with a pendeloque. The rectangular center shall feature an intricate, ornamental medallion, and shall be supported by a chapeau-shaped cross-brace ornamented with flutes. The cast aluminum standards shall be floor mounted and of proper thickness and design required to properly support the adjacent chair at the correct height and pitch. The exposed surface of the aluminum casting aisle standard shall be base-coated with an electrostatically applied powder coat, and decorated with enamel in accordance with the architect's instructions in the contract drawings (minimum of one decorative color above the powder base coat). Aisle standards shall be provided with cast aluminum lugs for supporting aisle standard armrests.
