Specification:

Aisle standards shall be decorative aluminum castings of a period style, constructed to properly support the aisle chairs. The cast aluminum standards shall be floor mounted and designed with vertical, integral cast columns bordering decorative panels. The cornice shall exhibit a raised oval medallion in the center decorated with a plumed leaf, and the lower panel shall exhibit a beaded urn with flowers. Lower legs shall support a lower double ogee, which, in turn, underlines the lower decorative panel. The cast aluminum standards shall be floor mounted and of proper thickness and design required to properly support the adjacent chair at the correct height and pitch. The exposed surface of the cast aluminum aisle standards shall be base-coated with an electrostatically applied powder coat, and decorated with enamel by the architect's instructions in the contract drawings (minimum of one decorative color above the powder base coat). Aisle standards shall be provided with cast aluminum lugs for supporting aisle standard armrests.
