Portable units are often used in large arenas to accommodate different types of events. However, even smaller venues can benefit from the flexibility a portable telescopic system can provide. Gyms can use portable systems to help enclose a court, performing arts or convention spaces can use portable seating in different configurations to meet the needs of a specific event while giving them access to the entire floor for others.

Irwin Seating's portable VersaTract units are equipped with a pneumatic system that fills heavy-duty bags to lift the drive system up off the floor while engaging a system of swivel wheels that allow the unit to be moved. Small units can be moved with a couple of people, larger units may need the assistance of a powered tugger or fork lift.
