Model 1020

Model 1020 was a typical plywood chair commonly installed in theatres and opera houses throughout the United States. The chairs shown here were restored for Cornell University, Bailey Hall. Work included:
- Stripping and cleaning of all cast iron & steel components prior to powder coating (painting)
- Conversion of existing chair standards to work with new No. 17 wood bottom seats
- Stripping and sanding of armrests prior to staining
- Stripping and sanding of backs prior to staining
- Addition of upholstered pads on the existing backs
- Addition of ADA-compliant aisle standards and movable bases
- New row letter and seat number plates
- New low-voltage aisle lights
