Responsibilities

This photo shows what Irwin Seating Company provides and what is the responsibility of the electrical contractor with respect to aisle lights. Irwin Seating Company will provide a pre-wired standard with approximately 16" of either plain wire or wire in a protective split loom plastic sheathing. The split loom is for protection only and is not meant to meet local codes. In addition, Irwin Seating provides the appropriate power supply (transformer).

The electrical contractor supplies the junction box, wiring from the electrical panels, connectors, and conduit necessary to meet local code and the final hook up of the wiring.

Once the aisle light equipped standard is set in place by our installer, the electrical contractor makes the hook up to the building's power supply. The electrical contractor is also responsible for the installation of the power supply (transformer).
