Chair Size Line

Chair Size Line:

The chair size line is sometimes referred to as the "row data line." It is a consistent point on the chair used by the draftsperson laying out space. This point is then used by the installer to determine the proper location of the chairs. The chair size line varies by model and manufacturer, but it is often the rear edge of the mounting foot, drill holes or the seat pivot.
